The reorganization meeting for the 2026-2027 school year will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 6:30 PM in the gym.

The District is currently accepting pre-k and kindergarten enrollment/registration for the 2026-2027 school year. For a student to enter the pre-k program, the student must be 4 years old by December 1, 2026 and for a student to enter kindergarten, the student must be 5 years old by December 1, 2026. Kindly call the school at 518-547-8266 to obtain the enrollment/registration paperwork.

Students at Putnam Central School participated in the 17th annual Project: Cameron's Story Bookraiser. As a school, we were able to collect 97 books that will be shared with families with newborns in area NICUs.

Mrs. Ashley Bigelow 1st Grade Teacher Putnam Central School Mrs. Bigelow has been teaching in Putnam for 20 years and in addition to first grade, she also teaches 4th Grade ELA. Over the years, she has instilled compassion, dedication, and most importantly enthusiasm in the many students she has taught.
